Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the dotdotPR website and marketplace, operated by In Plain English Ltd. Last updated: 12 October 2026.

1. Who we are

dotdotPR is operated by In Plain English Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of dotdotpr.com and related services, including the publisher marketplace, ordering workflow, content tools, and account features (together, the “Service”).

2. Acceptance

By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be able to form a legally binding contract under the laws of England and Wales to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

4. The Service

dotdotPR provides a publisher marketplace that helps customers discover websites and order placements such as guest posts, link insertions, brand mentions, and banner ads, and to create or provide content for those placements. Placement availability, pricing, and website-specific rules may change. Individual websites may apply additional terms that take precedence where they differ from platform placement rules.

Detailed placement operating rules for buyers and publishers are set out in our Platform Terms (available in the product after you sign in). Website Terms and Platform Terms should be read together.

5. Orders, pricing, and payment

Prices shown in the marketplace after you create an account are the then-current prices for available services, subject to change. Payment is required upfront for orders. We accept payment by card and PayPal. Work on an order begins once payment is received.

Because placements involve publisher review, content approval, and publishing workflows, refunds are handled case by case. Contact us at hello@dotdotpr.com if you have a billing concern. Nothing in these Terms affects any rights you may have that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

6. Content and approvals

You are responsible for content you submit, including that it is accurate, lawful, and does not infringe third-party rights. We and participating publishers may review and approve or decline content before publishing. Published content may be subject to publisher ownership and control, including the ability to edit or remove content in line with Platform Terms and website policies.

7. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to publish or promote unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, or harmful content; attempt to circumvent security or access controls; interfere with the Service; scrape or harvest data without permission; or misuse the marketplace for spam, malware, or prohibited niches that violate website or platform policies.

8. No ranking or AI-citation guarantees

Placements may support broader SEO, digital PR, and visibility strategies, but we do not guarantee search rankings, traffic, leads, sales, or appearance in AI-generated answers or search features. Outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, branding, and software are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. You retain ownership of content you supply, subject to the licences needed for us and publishers to review, publish, and operate placements.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, In Plain English Ltd will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid to us for the order(s) giving rise to the claim in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless In Plain English Ltd from claims arising out of content you submit, your misuse of the Service, or your breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our wilful misconduct.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if needed to protect the Service, publishers, or other users. You may stop using the Service at any time.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date on this page. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
